Richard laid down his life while battling a multi-­alarm fire in Pineville on Saturday, April 30, 2016. Please come out and show your appreciation and support for Pineville’s fallen hero, who paid the ultimate sacrifice! Proceeds from this event benefits the Richard Sheltra Memorial Foundation which provides resources, equipment and scholarships for volunteer first responders. These were areas of great concern and empathy for Richard.
